The energy pyramid displays how the ecosystem works. Every living thing needs energy, we get energy from the food that we eat. The energy pyramid shows us how different species get there energy. For example giraffes eat plants and shrubs this is how they get there energy. Lions eat giraffes this is how they get there energy.
